Privacy policy

What Logos uses to run the app and website, and the choices you have.

Effective October 20, 2026. Logos Chirality is operated by Trevor Unland. Questions or privacy requests can go to support@logoschirality.com.

Information used by the iOS app

To create and protect an account, Logos uses your sign-in email, an account ID, and an optional name you enter during email sign-up. The app does not send the name field from Sign in with Apple to our database. When you use Apple sign-in, the app keeps Apple's opaque user ID in your device Keychain to check whether that sign-in has been revoked.

The app sends listening-session records to Supabase. They include the recording you chose, start and end times, duration, completion, audio settings, app version, and device type. If you use mood tracking, the app sends your ratings and any notes you add. If you send feedback, it sends your rating, comment, and the part of the app where you gave it. These records are tied to your account.

Completed Study history, daily counts, and streaks stay on your device under your account ID and are not currently synced across devices. The app also saves your theme, optional wake and sleep times, reminder choice, and feedback-prompt progress on the device. Your audio preferences have an account record in Supabase.

How the information is used

We use these records to sign you in, keep accounts separate, run playback and study features, save the optional mood and feedback entries you choose to make, check access to paid features, troubleshoot problems, and improve the app. Supabase provides authentication, database storage, and public audio hosting. Apple handles App Store purchases and billing. The app checks verified subscription status on the device; the current build does not upload StoreKit transaction IDs to Supabase, and we do not receive your full payment card number.

This website and analytics

The website has no Logos account form and does not collect study sessions. Google Analytics runs only if it is configured and you choose “Allow analytics.” If enabled, it receives site visits and page paths, along with technical information normally sent by a browser such as device and browser details. Google may set analytics cookies. Advertising storage and personalization remain off. The current Google Analytics property retains event-level data for 2 months and user-level data for up to 14 months, resetting that user period on new activity. Your choice is stored in this browser and can be changed through “Privacy choices” in the footer. The cookies and analytics page explains the controls.

What Logos does not use

We do not sell personal information or use advertising trackers in the app. The current app does not collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or camera data. Logos is not a medical service; optional mood ratings are information you enter yourself, not a diagnosis.

How long records remain and how to delete them

Account, listening, preference, mood, and feedback records remain in the active database while your account is open. The app's Settings has an account-deletion request designed to remove the account and its linked records from the active database when it completes, then clear account-scoped local Study data on that device. If you cannot use that flow, email support from the address linked to your account so we can help. Clearing the app or browser alone does not delete server records.

Operational logs kept by our service providers and support correspondence can remain after active account records are removed. Their retention follows the providers' service schedules and any legal or security need; we do not use them to restore a deleted account. Apple keeps its own purchase records under its policies. Deleting your Logos account does not cancel an Apple subscription, so cancel that separately in Apple Subscriptions.

Age and location

The first app release is planned for the United States and for people age 13 or older. If you are under 13, do not create an account or send us personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 has done so should email support so we can address the account and its data. A future version for younger students would need its own parental-consent and child-account controls before those students can use it.

Your choices and changes

You can leave mood notes blank, change website analytics consent, manage an Apple subscription in your Apple Account, and request access to or deletion of your Logos account data through support. We may update this policy when the app or our providers change. The effective date above will change when we do.
